Maui Museums
Maui is a special place with a long long history. While you are taking in Modern Maui take in it's past and learn about the locals from a hundred years ago and also about those locals hundreds and hundreds of year way ago. Central Maui Museums- East Maui Museums
Located on the last Sugar Factory located in the historic town of Pu unene showing off information and exhibits the most significant crops in Maui history.
Home of the Maui Historical Society as a well preserved relic from the missionary days.
Located in the i'ao valley state monument it's an interactive museum containing more than 30 exhibits.
An old courthouse and replica native living compound make up this center providing info on Old Han Town
West Maui Museums
The early 19th century residence of Dr. Dwight Baldwin whose offspring would help shape Maui. it is the oldest house on the island of Maui as well as a good place to head out from in Lahaina. Wathch your head!
A self guided tour trail of about 2 Hours walking through Ka'anapali's history. Hint: look for the plaques on the rocks.
Chinese history predates the Whalers and Missionaries. In 1912 the Wo Hing Society built a temple on Front Street. The building served as a social meeting hall for years and has a lot of artifacts on display.
Captures the short lived whaling industry in Lahaina. The museum contains a collection of 19th century scrimshaw.
