Spam MusubiWe loved the tasty morsel known as the Spam Musubi. Great for a snack or breakfast. Think a spam sushi roll but slightly different. We've gone to a few Hawaiian restaurant since returning to Sacramento and chronicled it here. Then I had a brilliant idea..... Order a kit online! So i had the Spam, bought the Nori seaweed, used some microwave rice and bout musubi mold or musubi press. Whichever you wan to call it. The end result was tasty and I had fun making it but the rice fell apart. I'll need to get different rice next time and a rice cooker to try to make the rice stickier since I just used microwaveable rice to start with for convenience. My Musubi experiment still needs some hammering out but a delicious first attempt.
